Easy alternative: Arm Sculpt makers Rodial claim applying the 60 cream to the affected spot twice a day destroys fatty cells and tightens skin
A cream which promises to give women “Obama Arms” by shaving up to two centimetres of fat off dreaded bingo wings is set to go on sale in UK this week.
Arm Sculpt makers Rodial claim applying the 60 cream to the affected spot twice a day destroys fatty cells and tightens skin giving the user toned arms like Michelle Obama.
In trials it showed that 22 per cent of the fat can be dispersed if the cream is applied properly and that 56 days use will see an incredible 2cms disappear.
It is also said to reduce skin roughness by 43 per cent and boost skin elasticity by 35 per cent.
Rodial founder Maria Hatzistefanis said: “Following the success of our previous corrective body products, we were being frequently asked if we could devise an antidote to the sagging, ageing skin on the upper arm.
“We discovered that the majority of women are unhappy with their appearance of their arms and struggle to achieve the toned, youthful appearance they desire.
“So we have created a product that speaks to women to offer a solution to the curse of “bingo wings” and hyperkeratosis- an ageing condition which every woman will experience, some sadly earlier than others.” Arm Sculpt works by breaking down the fat cells that produce hyperkeratosis, bumpy skin on the upper arm.
Active ingredients including a natural substance called Glaucine works to smooth skin and reduce skin roughness, while another which contains caffeine works to break down cellulite and firm the skin.
It also contains multi-fruit acid extracts that help to shed dead skin cells, resulting in skin that appears fresher, smoother and younger.
Mobarms: U.S First Lady Michelle Obama”s arms are the envy of the nation
Caffeine and coenzyme A stimulate the transformation of fat and the transportation of fatty acids to firm and sculpt the upper arm area.
Rodial, who also make non-surgical bum lift and tummy tuck creams, began working on the bingo wing busting cream after receiving more than 8,000 requests from customers.
Previously, women have been toning their arms and bingo wings by performing specially designed exercises. This cream provides a much easier alternative.
The product launch comes in the wake of a survey which revealed 87 per cent of men look at a woman”s upper arms to tell how old they are.
And the report also found 73 per cent of women hate the large flaps of skin which hang underneath the triceps – more than any other part of their body.
