“How YOU doin” Matt LeBlanc tries and fails to seduce London model using his famous Friends catchphrase
As Joey Tribbiani he had the Midas touch when it came to pulling women.
But Matt LeBlanc was left feeling a fool when he tried and failed to use his famous on screen personality to seduce a beautiful stranger.
The 44-year-old actor was out in London earlier this month and spotted model Jo Spyrou in the Amika nightclub in Kensington, west London.
Smooth moves: Matt LeBlanc tried his luck with a model earlier this month but failed with his own impression of Joey Tribbiani
Matt was instantly drawn the trainee teacher but she was unimpressed by his sleazy charms and refused to go back to his hotel room.
Jo was out with a group of friends and didn”t pay much attention to the now silver haired actor until she was introduced to him by a mutual friend.
The pair hit it off and Jo said that the American was a really “nice guy” and he had a great sense of humour.
Getting closer: Matt and Jo Spyrou posed for pictures in the back corridors of Amika in London
After dancing and fliritng with the star she posed for a picture with him.
She told the Daily Star Sunday newspaper: “He cuddled up to me and said that I smelled nice. He also commented on the dress I was wearing, he really seemed to like it.”
The 22-year-old said that the part of her dress Matt liked the most were the cut out bits on the side which in the pictures you can see him stroking.
After his compliments failed to get brunette back to his hotel room he pulled out the big guns.
How you doin Matt failed to score with the trainee-teacher but was apparently very funny
Jo, from London, claims that the Joey star turned to her and said “What ya doin” in the same tone that his character used to speak.
She said to the newspaper: “In the show he used to say “How ya doin” but other than that it was exactly the same.”
Even though Jo admits that she fancied Matt she felt it would be inappropriate to go back to his hotel.
She added to the paper: “He was very flirty but he”s a lot older than me. Even now it all seems so mad.”
