Maria Sharapova swapped her tennis whites for a stunning evening gown last night as she put in an appearance at the ESPY awards in Los Angeles.
Fresh from competing at Wimbledon last week where she was knocked out in the fourth round by German Sabine Lisicki, the evening out was a rare hiatus for the athlete.
Sharapova has had to resume her intensive training schedule in preparation for her performance at the Olympic Games in two weeks' time, when she is set to compete in the Olympic tennis singles contest for her home country of Russia.
