In a generation where it has become accustom for people to drink until they pass out, one person who is not ready to say goodbye to binge boozing Brits is Maria Fowler.
The former TOWIE babe headed to the ITV studios earlier today to debate against former MP Ann Widdecombe, who is calling for binge drinkers to be named and shamed in newspapers.
Strongly against Widdecombe's views, Fowler held her own in the discussion and managed to get the viewers of This Morning on board by winning with 71 per cent of the votes.

On the show Maria opened up about her arrest for being drunk and disorderly which happened four years ago after a night out, and she explained how it hadn't deterred her from going out and drinking.
She also joked about how she finds it funny when drunken pictures of her surface online or in print.
'If I go out and have a few too many and it's in the papers or online or whatever, like I might have a warped sense of humour but I think it's quite funny', said the 25-year-old.
Opposing views: Widdecome wants binge drinkers to be named and shamed
Getting serious Maria told Ann, 'I think the views of having pictures in the paper is quite out of touch to have.'
In attempt to sway the former MP's viewpoint, she continued, 'I think what you should do is come out on a night with me. I'll show you how it works, and we'll sit down and we'll re-discuss and re-assess.'
Refusing the offer, Ann shook her head and said, 'No thank you. No ta – thanks very much for the offer.'

Winning the viewers over with her honest and straight talking opinions, Maria proved victorious when the results of a poll that had been running during the debate were revealed.

Last week, Maria proved she was true to her views as she looked worst for wears as she left a nightclub in East London on Thursday evening.
The model hit the Metropolis Strip Club with her friend, hair technician Sinead Lawrence, and uploaded several pictures and posts to her Twitter page of her drinking habit before she called it a night.
As she left the club, at 2am, she kept a firm grip on one of the club's bouncers before getting into a taxi where she slumped over.
