She’s been up and coming for the past few years with supporting roles in a string of movies but today it was Malin Akerman’s time to shine as she dazzled at the Rock of Ages premiere.
Rocking up to the special screening at the Odeon in Leicester Square the bubbly blonde actress wowed the waiting crowds in an above the knee nude dress with intricate leaf detailing.
She accessorised with sky high gold shoes and a small matching clutch while bright red lips added a pop of colour.

Time to shine! Malin Akerman dazzles on the red carpet at the Rock of Ages premiere in London, stealing the spotlight from star Tom Cruise
Flawless! Malin looked stunning with simple slicked pair hair and bright red lips
Malin’s hair was held back in a sleep ponytail, adding to the chic look.
Meanwhile, Tom Cruise, 49, was a world away from his on-stage alter ego, the rocker Stacee Jaxx, as she arrived in a more casual outfit of jeans, dark T-shirt, a dark jacket and a pair of sunglasses.
His dark brown shoes were scuffed and dirty, showing signs of age.
Disappointing! Tom Cruise's casual outfit was a far cry from his look as rocker Stacee Jaxx
Rock on! Tom and Russell Brand were eager to play up to the cameras as they arrived at the the European premiere of Rock of Ages, at the Odeon in Leicester Square
From seeing him it is difficult to believe he could ever pull off the character of the womanising lead singer of fictional group Arsenal.
In the movie he plays a long haired, headband wearing, eccentrically dressed singer, a world away from his usual clean cut image.
Based on the Broadway musical of the same name, Rock of Ages tells the tale of waitress and aspiring singer Sherrie Christian, played by Julianne, and a busboy who fall in love during the Eighties glam metal era.
This is my moment: Malin soaks up the attention from photographers and fans as she attends the Rock of Ages premiere in London
Russell wore a typically eccentric outfit as he arrived at the Odeon Leicester Square for the premiere
One scene even called for professional dancer-turned-singer-turned-actress Julianne Hough to give Tom a lapdance.
despite the scene being cut from the version in theatres, Julianne
admitted that particular day on set has been emblazoned in her memory.
on Live! With Kelly she said: 'It got caught because apparently mothers
didn't like Sherrie Christian after that. It was a little too hot and
steamy and sexy. It will be on the director's cut, though.'
Mummy's boy: Russell took his mother Barbara, who looked lovely in a black lace dress, as his date to the Rock of Ages premiere
Rock On! The Rock of Ages cast (from left) Paul Giamatti, Julianne Hough, Tom Cruise, Mary J. Blige, Russell Brand, Malin Akerman and Diego Boneta, posed for a group photo at the premiere in London this evening
She added: 'Let’s just say I’ll always have that in my back pocket, that I gave Tom Cruise a lap dance.'
However, even though he didn't look like a star, Tom was happy as ever happy to smile and sign autographs for the waiting fans.
Russell Brand looked more like a rocker as he showed up to the premiere in a pair of skinny jeans, leather jacket, scuffed boots and a scarf.
Outshone! Julianne Hough looked cute in a plunging black dress but Malin won in the glamour stakes
Playful! Russell was in good spirits and happy to joke around with fans at the premiere
Diego Boneta chose a suit unlike his more causal co-stars Tom and Russell
Breakout star Julianne also attended although she was outshone by Malin, 34.
The pretty 23-year-old star wore a short black dress with a plunging neckline but the fussy white sleeves ruined the otherwise sleek ensemble.
Mexican actor Diego Boneta donned a suit for the occasion.
Mary J. Blige, who plays Justice, the savvy operator of a Sunset Strip gentleman’s club in the movie, also made an appearance
Mary J. Blige also showed up in a black mesh dress with black sandals.

Not just the A-list: Former Atomic Kitten singe Liz McClarnon, Simon Cowell's ex-girlfriend Sinitta and one time X Factor contestant Lucie Jones all arrived to watch the movie
That's enough fun for one evening: Malin is helped out of the afterparty at Roka into a waiting car by two people
That's more like it! Tom looks every inch the rock star in a still from the Rock of Ages movie with Alec Baldwin
