The actress was spotted cradling her rather large baby bump as she stepped out in Brooklyn, New York today to run some errands.

The Secretary star, who already has a daughter Ramona with her husband Peter Sarsgaard, looked blossoming in a red fitted long sleeve top paired with some black trousers and a knitted scarf.
Maggie enjoyed her morning walk around the New York island, stopping for a second to drop a pair of sandals into a box out the front of her home.
She seemingly had worked up some warmth, later removing her sweater once again revealing her burgeoning belly in a charcoal V-neck T-shirt.

Gyllenhaal and husband Sarsgaard, who was originally a close friend of her brother and Donnie Darko star Jake, married in 2009.
Their new addition to the family will be a brother or sister to Ramona, five.
Having kept the news quiet for months, the couple only revealed they would be expecting their second child at the end of November.

Maggie was reported to be six months pregnant in December, meaning that she could well be due sometime this month.
A source told Life & Style magazine in December: 'Over Thanksgiving weekend, Maggie was telling friends that she’s six months pregnant. Her bump is so big.
'She’s thrilled to be pregnant! She and Peter have wanted another child for a while.

At least she'll be getting into character for her latest project rather than preparing for a career hiatus.
