With bikini perfect celebrities adorning the covers of all our favourite magazines, it is no surprise that we have become an image conscious culture.
But it appears that celebrities are feeling the pressure to look picture perfect too, with some even turning to lunch-time liposuction for a quick fix.
The non-invasive lipoglaze treatment is becoming increasingly popular with celebrities of both sexes who want a quick beauty fix – and don't want to go under the knife.
Image conscious celebrities are increasingly opting for a quick fix of liposuction without going under the knife
Celebrity fans include super WAG Lizzie Cundy and boy band star Antony Costa who favour the treatment for ridding their stubborn fatty areas in less than an hour.
The treatment works by removing fat cells from the body by freezing them without leaving any scarring or pain.
The Lipoglaze Cryo-Lipo machine works by
first gently heating and then rapidly cooling the target area. This
causes the fat cells to crystallise and permanently destroys up to a
third of fatty deposits per session. The body then naturally eliminates
this waste tissue over the next few weeks.
Former WAG Lizzie Cundy is a big fan of the treatment which targets her stubborn fatty areas
Lizzie, 42, used it to iron out a stubborn area of fat on her tummy.
She was so delighted with the results that she recently posed naked for a magazine, revealing: 'I’m a sexy cougar – toyboys love my hot body.'
Lizzie, who presents The Movie Show on Watch and makes regular appearances on This Morning, Daybreak and Sky News, said: 'I go to the gym regularly and am very careful about my diet – but we all need a bit of help getting rid of those stubborn areas.
Blue star Antony Da Costa used the treatment to compliment his gym regime
'That is why I turned to Donna and Debra at Lipoglaze. They used Lipoglaze on a little bit of my tummy.
'It was very cold but completely painless.
'I felt confident enough about my body to pose naked without any airbrushing.
'I’ve had some great comments about the pictures. I don’t suppose my
ex (the former Spurs footballer Jason Cundy) likes them – which means
they must be good.'
Blue stars Antony and Simon Webbe have also tried it.
Antony, 31, said: 'I work out all the time and eat really well but, like a lot of guys, I need a little of extra help just getting rid of those stubborn areas around my mid-riff.'
His band-mate Simon, 34, used Lipoglaze, which landed from the USA for the first time at LoveLite clinic, to tone up his six-pack.
Debra Robson-Lawrence, co-founder of LoveLite with Donnamarie McBride, said: 'We loved working with Lizzie who looks sensational at 42. And it is great that lots of male celebrities like the Blue boys are also trying it.'
