Bring back Lorraine! Viewers left unimpressed by 'bland' Myleene Klass as she steps in for Kelly after her jumping accident
They are certainly big shoes to fill.
But Myleene Klass did little to convince ITV viewers she has the ability to hold the fort for presenter Lorraine Kelly after her jumping accident when she hosted her morning show today.
Many viewers took to Twitter to complain that 'bland' Myleene didn't have the same appeal as Scottish host Lorraine, who is currently in hospital after being trampled by a horse.

One Lorraine viewer wrote: 'Myleene klass can't present for toffee. Get me to work please.'

Another viewer wrote: 'Watched Myleene Klass presenting Lorraine this am. Painful.'
The comments increased when Myleene began interviewing jazz singer Katie Melua, with one viewer writing: 'Myleene Klass and Katy Melua are the most BLAND women on TV!'
And another tweeted: 'Myleene Klass chatting to Katie Melua on #Lorraine in a veritable orgy of middle-of-the-road mediocrity.'
wasn't all bad, however, as some other viewers praised Myleene's
attempts on the show, with many commenting on her sleek and polished
One tweeted: 'Waking up to see the goegeous Myleene Klass on the TV this morning.'
And another added: 'Myleene Klass is soo cute and loveable :)'
Afterwards, Myleene wrote on her Twitter page: 'Thanks for your msgs re Lorraine. For
those asking, dress, French Connection, shoes, YSL, hair is mine (!)
just didn't have time to curl it.'
Lorraine will be off her morning show for the next few weeks after she underwent emergency surgery following the training event.

The 52-year-old was attempting a jump when she fell from the horse, which then stamped on her thigh.
Paramedics were called to Chessington
Equestrian Centre and found the star bleeding heavily. She was then
taken to St George’s Hospital in Tooting, south London, where doctors
ruled she needed surgery for the wound.
Lorraine wrote on Twitter: 'I fell of the horse while attempting a jump for the first time.

paramedics in ambulance – then given an op under general anaesthetic at

Helen Fospero replaced Lorraine on her show, with Myleene stepping in
