Over in America fans have already been treated to seeing the launch of the all new Dallas reboot.

And now as anticipation mounts ahead of the UK launch next month the stars of the show have headed over to London to launch the programme on our side of the Atlantic.

Tonight the stars, both old and new, attended a special party to celebrate its imminent debut on British screens.

Linda Gray may be a legend from the original series in her iconic role as Sue Ellen but she showed she's certainly still cutting it as she stood out in a red frock for the evening.

Looking demure with the knee-length cut, she looked miles younger than her 71 years in the ensemble.

She completed her look with a large gold bangle and some matching heels.

Linda, who will be 72 with in weeks, held hands with her beloved co-stars, who have also rejoined the line-up for the makeover show.

Larry Hagman wore his staple cowboy hat with a navy suit and tie, while Patrick Duffy also opted for dapper in his own suit get-up.

They posed for photos on the red carpet at Old Billingsgate Market before heading inside to enjoy the festivities, which included a bucking bronco and tequila to fit in with the theme of the series.

And they were joined by the younger members of cast who have completed the cast line-up.

Former Desperate Housewives star Jesse Metcalfe showed off his good looks in a grey suit jacket and tie.

While Jordana Brewster opted for a pink pencil skirt and matching top with silver heels and a clutch bag.

And it seems the Channel 5 show, which is due to debut in the UK on 12 September, is popular already.

Celebrities including Keith Duffy, Derren Brown and rock legend Roger Daltrey all showed up to celebrate the launch.

While the likes of Gloria Hunniford and Sally Bercow were also in attendance.

The reboot has already proved popular in the US after its premiere over there.

The Dallas reboot was a hit with a new generation of fans after the premiere in June drew 6.9 million
viewers.

The TNT show was the most-watched cable series premiere of the year.

As
well as making TNT the top-scoring basic cable network of the night, the
two-hour premiere even beat out the major broadcast networks in the
9-11 p.m time slot.
