She quit music in 2009 and said she had no plans to make any more records.
But Lily Cooper has rediscovered her musical passion and is heading back into the studio to continue recording new songs she has written over the past few months.
The 27-year-old singer has revealed she will be releasing music under her married name despite finding fame as Lily Allen.

Today Lily said: 'It's great to work at my own pace, with no commitments other than to make music. I'm excited to be heading back into the studio.'
The decision to record again comes three years after Lily told fans she was leaving music.
At the time Lily posted a statement to her blog that read: 'Just so you know, I have not renegotiated my record contract and have no plans to make another record (applause).'

The couple welcomed their first child Ethel Mary in November 2011 and last month the singer confirmed she is pregnant again.
The third album will follow her debut Alright, Still and It's Not Me It's You.
