Leggy Lea Michele plays peekaboo in a daring thigh-high slit gown
At first glance it was the kind of conservative gown her goody two-shoes character Rachel Barry would choose.
But Lea Michele played peekaboo with photographers last at Fox's All Star Party, flashing them a glimpse of leg with a thigh-high slit.
The actress wore an electric blue dress to the bash, held at Castle Green estate in Pasadena, whose daring slit in the skirt added some sex appeal to the otherwise demure short-sleeve gown.
Now you see it…: Lea Michele played peekaboo with her gown at the Fox All Star party last night
Lea, 25, accessorised with silver strappy heels and minimal gold jewellery.
The actress was joined on the red carpet at the network party by her co-stars including Jenna Ushkowitz, in a short red frock, and Jayma Mays in a green floral number.
Jany Lynch was more casual in jeans and a navy tuxedo jacket, while the male stars Matthew Morrison, Cory Monteith, Kevin McHale and Chris Colfer appeared in jeans and suits.
Colourful: Lea's co-stars Jenna Ushkowitz and Jayma Mays also opted for bright dresses for the party, held at Castle Green in Pasadena
Teachers: Jane Lynch and Matthew Morrison were both suited and booted for the occasion
Another Fox star, Zooey Deschanel, looked cute in a black and white dress.
Zooey's new sitcom The New Girl premiered in September to rave reviews, and made its debut on UK screens last week.
Also in attendance were Kiefer Sutherland, Josh Jackson and The Finder's Geoff Stults and Maddie Hasson.

Lea Michele's appearance at the Fox party came as it was announced that her character Rachel Barry will return next season, despite reports to the contrary.
Last year it was reported that Lea, Chris Colfer and Cory Monteith would no return to the series after their characters graduated high school.
Then it was claimed that Michele and Colfer's characters would have their own spin-off show which followed them to the bright lights of Broadway.
Back to black: (L-R) Hannah Simone, Jaime Pressly and Dorian Brown all played it safe in LBDs
A-list: Kiefer Sutherland and Josh Jackson also attended
But yesterday Lea, who tweeted about the end of her time on the show over the summer, set the record straight on Twitter.
She wrote: 'It's official Rachel Berry will be back next year for season 4! I'm so happy you have no idea!!
'Ryan Murphy has some brilliant and ground breaking ideas for including us graduates in the show for next season! It's going to be great!'
A Fox spokesperson confirmed that 'there will be no spin-off' and that the actors 'will still be part of the show.'
Back to school: Lea confirmed on Twitter yesterday that she will be returning for the fourth season of Glee
