Lauren Goodger admits she just can"t let go of Mark Wright

'We do love each other even though it isn’t healthy': Lauren Goodger admits she just can't let go of Mark Wright

Their on/off romance is one of the most destructive relationships on The Only Way Is Essex.

But despite their many splits and fiery arguments, Lauren Goodger admits she just can't let go of her ex-fianc Mark Wright.

Even though they called off their engagement last August, the pair still occasionally sleep together, which Lauren, 25, acknowledges isn't an ideal situation.

As she undergoes a makeover – complete with black and red wigs – for Now magazine, the reality star admits she just can't move on from Mark.

She tells the new issue of the magazine: 'People look at me and say: “You must be
nuts. Why would you go back there after everything he’s put you
through”

'We resent each other sometimes. We’ve both been angry. But
we do love each other even though it isn’t healthy. We’ve been through
so much. I couldn’t be happier with how it is at the moment.'

Although the club promoter has now left TOWIE, he still frequents the same Essex and London nightclubs as his ex, so they still see each other regularly.

During the first three series of The Only Way Is Essex, the couple were only together for a few episodes of Series 2 when they got back together and got engaged simultaneously in a pub car park.

Despite Mark's other romances, he and
Lauren has frequently slept together during their 'off' periods, with
the tanning entrepreneur being spotted returning home to her ex's
Abridge apartment after a night out as recently as December 19.

The morning after, the couple discussed what had happened, but declined to get back together.

She explained: ' I felt a bit like: “Oh God, here we go
again.” We both think this can’t go on for ever. We either have to get
back together or call it a day. But at the minute we both have so much
on that we wouldn’t get to see each other.'

Over the past 18 months since they first
leaped to fame, Mark has also dated TOWIE co-stars Sam Faiers and Lucy
Mecklenburgh, as well as enjoyed a three month romance with Playboy
model Kayla Collins.

However, when not with Mark, Lauren has always remained single throughout and has argued with both Lucy and Sam while they were dating him.

But while she admits their relationship is 'unhealthy', she's not ready to move on.

She said: 'Clearly I can’t let go and he can’t let
go. If we could we would… I haven’t gone on any dates. It’s what everyone
says I need to do… It’d be weird. I’m not ready for that just yet.'

And if Mark started a new relationship, Lauren believes he would still come back to her anyway.

She boasted: 'I'd be in bits, but I wouldn’t believe him. I’d say: “See you next week, Mark!” I’ve heard it all before.'
