Still a tomboy at heart: Kristen Stewart says she can't stand actresses too concerned with 'looking pretty in heels'

Since she first rocketed to global stardom after being cast as Bella Swan in the mega-hit Twilight franchise, Kristen Stewart has been able to take her pick from the creations of the world's top fashion designers when dressing for high-profile events.
But the tomboyish actress famously made her early red carpet appearances clad not in a towering pair of Jimmy Choo heels or Christian Louboutin peep-toes, but rather a scruffy pair of Converse trainers.
While her time in the spotlight has seen her wardrobe evolve to incorporate more formal footwear, the 22-year-old is still regularly spotted swapping her stilettos for her trusty trainers, and she has now admitted she 'can't stand' actresses who are too concerned with 'looking pretty in your heels'.

Rarely caught in a full-length gown or
girlish pastel shades, Kristen prefers dark colours and shorter
hemlines, often toughened up with leather and teamed with her favourite
smoky eye make-up.

no intention of abandoning her off-beat style – or her Converse.

Discussing her new role as the face of Balenciaga's Florabotanica perfume, Stewart also described some of the scents that attract her – and typically they were not the obvious choice for the average 22-year-old girl.
The actress, who wears chunky flat loafers in the Florabotanica campaign images, named the waft of cigarettes in a bar and 'scuzzy' shampoo in New Orleans as alluring smells.
Stewart was engulfed in scandal in the
summer when photographs of her in a steamy clinch with married director
Rupert Sanderson – while she was in a relationship with Twilight
co-star Robert Pattinson – were published in a magazine.
