A Posh PR stunt puts Kim in the shades: Murray's girlfriend wears pair of Beckham's sunglasses for Wimbledon final

Andy Murray’s girlfriend was ‘loaned’ a pair of Victoria Beckham sunglasses to wear for the Wimbledon finals.
Kim Sears wore the 300 aviator shades on Sunday after she was sent a pair from the VB collection – in a thinly-disguised PR move by the former Spice Girl.
Murray and the Beckhams are both managed by Simon Fuller’s XIX Management.

Yesterday publicists for Miss Beckham’s fashion range were keen to point out the brand sported by Miss Sears during Sunday’s final.
It was a move away from her usual preference for Ray Bans, which she had sported during earlier rounds of the tournament.
A source told the Mail: ‘She is not a particular friend of Victoria’s, but she was lent the glasses to wear for Wimbledon because the Beckhams share the same management agency as Andy.’
Meanwhile, Beckham, 38, wore a dark green dress, 8,950 crocodile shoulder bag, and 275 sunglasses from her own autumn/winter collection as she watched the finals from the Royal Box.
She looked bored and unmoved throughout the match, but her publicist insisted she had been ‘delighted to attend the tennis’ and had a ‘great day out’.

During Wimbledon, Miss Sears, 24, has attracted almost as much attention for her outfits off-court as Murray has on-court.
At the semi-finals she wore an electric blue dress and her favourite Mulberry Bayswater handbag, while at the finals she wore a high-waisted black skirt and wooden wedges with a thick animal print strap.
Yesterday, Mathew Soobroy, master stylist at Charles Worthington salons, said requests for ‘The Kim’ had overtaken demand for Kate Middleton’s locks.
He said: ‘As the UK has been gripped watching Andy Murray on Centre Court, we’ve experienced an incredible uplift in requests for Kim Sears’ style, exceeding requests for other celebrities by over 50 per cent.’
