And it appears his musical interests are rubbing off on actress Keira Knightley.
The Pirates of the Caribbean star was spotted filming her latest scenes with co-star Mark Ruffalo in New York yesterday.

And they seem to be making sweet music together on the set of their new movie Can A Song Save Your Life
The acting duo looked like they were having fun as they played their guitars and sang into a microphone.
Keira, 27, looked casual in jeans, a black T-shirt and a red cardigan as she sipped on her coffee and chatted to a smoking Mark Ruffalo in between takes.

Knightley has already showed off her footballing skills in breakout movie Bend It Like Beckham and now it seems she's been hiding her music talents, as well.

Keira, who plays a dumped lover who embarks on a new romance, was earlier seen smiling over a cup of ice-cream in the Big Apple.
The scene took place on a city park bench with The Kids Are All Right actor Ruffalo and True Grit's Hailee Steinfeld.

The movie has been filming in the Big Apple for the past three weeks, with the 27-year-old playing struggling musician Greta.
She has been seen shooting scenes with Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine, who plays her first love.

interest (Levine) with the aim of pursuing a musical career together.

The movie has just announced another high-profile attachment, with hit musician Cee Lo Green to join the cast playing a successful hip-hop star.
