'I will not be able to attend': Katy Perry pulls out of People's Choice Awards
It was claimed her husband had been uninvited to prevent fireworks.
But Katy Perry has told fans she will not be attending the People's Choice Awards on tomorrow night.
On Monday night Katy tweeted: 'Unfortunately I will not be able to attend the People's Choice Awards. I want to thank u all for voting for me, fingers crossed! #KATYCATS'

Katy is up for seven awards including Favourite Pop artist, Favourite Female artist and Favourite song of the year.
She also landed nominations in a Film category for her vocal role in the smurfs and for her cameo in How I Met Your Mother.

This is the second time Katy has took to Twitter to speak to her fans.

After keeping a dignified silence since it emerged that her 14-month marriage was over, Katy spoke out on Saturday posting to her Twitter page.
The 27-year-old singer made it crystal clear that she speaks for herself and she also took a swipe at her parents who had publicly given their opinion on their daughter's troubles.
Katy said on Twitter: 'I am so
grateful for all the love and support I've had from people around the
world. You guys have made my heart happy again.'
also put out a strong and stern warning to her fans to not listen to
any rumours or information about her unless she says it herself.

The tweet, which was Perry's first since
December 26, will be a clear message to her evangelical parents who had
spoken about the split earlier this week.

The ministers suggested her split with Russell was a gift sent by God – to help them fill churches.
Mary, 63, preached to the Church on the Rise congregation in Westlake, Ohio: 'I'm sure that Katy's trending on the Internet was to get you here to church tonight.'
