Sorry, Kate Middleton, those eyebrows are a no-no! The Scouse Brow is voted biggest beauty blunder

They may be popular among the likes of Coleen Rooney and even the Duchess of Cambridge, but heavily pencilled eyebrows have been voted the top beauty blooper of the 21st century.
According to a recent study, the tattooed look, which has been dubbed ‘The Scouse Brow’, is the biggest make-up faux pas women can make.
Other beauty styles which proved unpopular in the poll of 2,000 women were foundation tide marks around the chin due to make-up not being blended in properly and cosmetically-enhanced lips.
Make up faux pas: Kate Middleton (left) and Coleen Rooney are both fans of the heavily pencilled eyebrow look
Beauty blunders: Bad hair extensions like those of Katie Price (left) and leftover lipstick on your teeth, which Scarlett Johansson displayed during a TV appearance last year, were also on the list
Over-plucked eyebrows which leave little or no hair came in fourth on the list while dark lip liner combined with a lighter shade of lipstick – a look adopted by former Baywatch star Pamela Anderson, was fifth.
More than a third of females have experienced looking in the mirror later in the day and realising they have made a make-up faux pas.

When it came to their own beauty
methods, 85% of those surveyed by beauty retailer Superdrug said they
followed the mantra ‘less is more’ when applying make-up
while three quarters felt they had become more skilled at it with age.
'Make-up comes down to personal preference and whether you favour thick or thin eyebrows or dark or pale lipstick, it’s your choice,' says Sara Wolverson, a spokesperson for Superdrug.
'We are all guilty of making some of these mistakes at some time in our lives whether it’s being over zealous with a pair of tweezers, forgetting to blend make-up properly or smiling with lipstick on our teeth.
'Many of the blunders in this poll are genuine mistakes and could be a result of something simple like bad lighting.
'It’s really interesting that brow blunders make up three of the top ten, whether brows are too big, too light or too dark.
'With this in mind it’s no surprise that sales of brow kits and brow pencils are soaring in our stores.'
Lipstick stains on teeth, clumpy mascara, yellow teeth, sunburn and matted hair extensions also made it into the top 25, along with greasy hair, hairy legs and wearing make-up in bed.
Getting it wrong: Sunburn was 22nd on the list as well as over-plucked eyebrows and dark lip-liner with pale lipstick, both demonstrated by former Baywatch star Pamela Anderson
