This week she revealed that she goes through her TV chef husband's emails and text messages to make sure he is not having an affair.
And after her very public admission, could it be that Jools Oliver has been read the riot act by Jamie
The wife of the celebrity cook was snapped arriving back from a shopping trip looking like she had the weight of the world on her shoulders.
Stressed: Jools Oliver returned from a shopping trip today looking tired and miserable after a week where she revealed she reads husband Jamie's texts and emails
Frowning and with bags under her eyes, suggesting she hasn't slept very well, she kept her head down as she arrived back to the family's north London home.
She looked a million miles away, the worries lines all too clear to see on her face as she pressed her doorbell.
But she still managed to look chic in her casual attire of blue skinny jeans, flips flops, a grey hoodie and red jacket.
Deep in thought: The worry lines on her face were all too clear to see as she headed home
Jools 37, has been married to Jamie Oliver, also 37, for 12 years, and they have four children: Poppy Honey, ten; Daisy Boo, nine; Petal Blossom, three, and Buddy Bear, 21 months.
But this week she revealed that despite their solid union, she still has moments of doubt.
She made the frank admission when asked if she felt confident about her husband’s dealings with other women.
Let me in! Jools pressed on the bell of her north London home as she got ready to hurry inside and hide away
She said: 'Yeah,
I’ll check his email. I’ll check his Twitter. I’ll check his phone.
Everything seems fine. He says I’m a jealous girl, but I
think I’m fairly laid-back, considering.’
But she contradicted what she said four years ago when she was ridiculed for saying she was certain he would
never cheat on her during his long absences filming cookery programmes.
She said: ‘I am very secure. People say “Oh you can’t
trust a man 100 per cent,” but I’m afraid I say I can.
‘They say every man will have an affair, but I really don’t think mine will. Actually, I know he won’t.’
Solid: Jools and Jamie have been married for 12 years and have four children
