She's played some of TV and films most memorable characters from Purdey in The Avengers to Patsy in Absolutely Fabulous.
Now Joanna Lumley is giving people the chance to own a piece of showbiz history by auctioning off some of her most famous outfits for charity.
Corsets and suspenders she wore in The Avengers and designer outfits she's donned over the decades in her role as Patsy in Ab Fab, including a Joseph zebra print coat and Alexander McQueen vest top, are all going under the hammer.
Going under the hammer: Joanna Lumley's clothes up for auction, from left, a Chanel suit from her own wardrobe, a Joseph zebra print coat worn in Absolutely Fabulous, a dress she once wore to the Baftas and a corset from her role as Purdey in The Avengers
The lots also include clothes and accessories from Joanna's own wardrobe including the dress she wore when she won a Bafta in 2000 and the Betty Jackson suit she wore to attend the wedding of Prince Charles to Camilla Parker Bowles in 2005.
The 66-year-old said she only picked items that were special to her to go on sale in order to raise money for The Prince's Trust.
She said: 'I am giving up some of my greatest
treasures and happiest memories. I am so thrilled to think
that the proceeds will all go to benefit young people through one of my
all-time favourite charities. I love each item and
each garment with a passion.'

Designer items include Dolce & Gabbana shoes, a Chanel LBD and Versace shirts. There's also a Philip Treacy designed tweed cap and Hermes silk scarves.
Joanna revealed to Liz Jones, who was given a sneak peak at the lots for You magazine last month, how she came to keep the designer outfits from TV shows that would usually remain the property of the production company.

'I was offered the chance to buy them from the designers at 50 per cent off! So I snapped up the ones I loved,' she said.
She added that it was time to share the items she has accrued from her decades in show business.
'As first a model, now an actress, I'm always taking stuff off and putting stuff on. If you're as old as I am, you’ve seen it all before. You've done it all, 30 or 40 years ago.' she said. 'So that's why I'm selling all these clothes and bits and pieces, the Herms scarves and the platform shoes.
