Jessica Chastain got her hands dirty for the new Yves Saint Laurent fragrance campaign.

The 35-year-old Oscar-nominated actress has purple paint-splashed hands for the new fragrance ‘Manifesto', the latest perfume offering from the French fashion house.

She looks stunning with slick black eyeliner and ruby red lips for the ad.

Purple a colour that is synonymous with the label and Jessica's vibrant hand hue matches that of the bottle.

'The amethyst-hued central section could
call to mind a diamond-cut jewel or belt,' said Stephen Bezy, general manager of Yves Saint Laurent Beaute at L’Oreal Plus.

YSL's latest ad campaign, which was photographed by the prestigious industry experts Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, showcases Chastain’s 'luminosity, charm, grace and power — and the audacity as well — to embody the fragrance,' Bezy told WWD.

'She’s really an Yves Saint Laurent woman,' he said.

The fragrance scent is a woody mix of florals and orientals, with notes of jasmine, white flowers, vanilla and sandalwood.

Jessica, who appeared on Good Morning America today, follows in the footsteps of fellow actress Emily Blunt and supermodel Kate Moss as an ambassador for the brand.

The brand, founded in 1962 by late creator Yves Saint Laurent and his partner Pierre Berg, is attempting to invigorate itself with a younger market by modernising its name to Saint Laurent Paris.
