They've only been working together a few weeks but Jessica Chastain and James McAvoy are already becoming fast friends.
The American actress, 35, and Scottish actor, 33, were spotted hanging out behind the scenes of their new movie The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby on Friday.
Flashing her megawatt smile, Jessica showed off a drastic new haircut as she posed for pictures with James in front of a trailer on the downtown Manhattan set.

In her new film, The Help actress stars as a wife who changes the dynamics of the relationship with her husband when she decides to go back to college.
According to a press release, the movie will explore 'how a married couple in New York City deals with an emotional, life-altering experience, from two different perspectives.'

The movie is being made as a rare double feature that will tell the sides of both characters as their relationship stumbles.
The film, which is slated for release in 2013, is already getting a lot of buzz because it will be split into a double feature told from the perspectives of the husband and wife.
Meanwhile, the actress's fans can catch her alongside Tom Hardy, Shia LaBeouf and Guy Pearce in the Depression-era drama, Lawless, when it hits theaters on August 29.
