Jamie O'Hara took to Twitter yesterday to defend his wife Danielle after she was called a h*, and many other things besides, by ex-Chelsea player Leon Knight.
The Wolverhamptor Wanderers player, 25, was incensed after Leon, 29, tweeted to him: 'You're married correct !! But ur married to a raging s**t bag [sic]'
Leon followed up the comment with many other accusations relating to Danielle's past, insinuating that she'd played the field with many other footballers in her time.
Upset: Danielle O'Hara nearly quit Twitter after being called a raging h* by ex-Chelsea player Leon Knight
Enraged, Jamie retaliated: 'If at
@leonknight82 has got a problem he should give me a call instead of
giving the bigun on twitter to a women with two kids.
follow me and I'll direct message you my number, anytime mate, your a
disgrace to your name go and do something with your life.'
continued: 'Onto more interesting things now cos I don't have time for
low life's who sit and abuse women behind a laptop, Team GB look
Defended his wife: Jamie said that if Leon had a problem he should call him rather than pick on Danielle
Clearly still upset, he added
yesterday: 'Some people really are a disgrace aren't they, sums up how
bad there lives must be to have to comment on other peoples family's,
'Off to bed
some of us have got work in the morning, gonna cuddle up to my h**
housewife hahaha and my two amazing boys, goodnight peeps.
all people asking me about Leon knight this is now in the hands of the
police and my lawyers, jealousy is the the route to all evil.'
Lashed out: Ex-Chelsea player Leon Knight tweeted some unkind comments about Danielle Lloyd on Thursday
Clearly upset, Danielle took to her
own page and wrote: 'Sadly I might be coming off twitter as I can't take
much more abuse from scum when all am trying to do is be a good mum
& wife I love all[sic]'
my fans and wish and its shame I might have to do this but I've got to
put my family first. Thanks for all your support Xxx [sic]' she
It appears that having had a day to reflect Danielle changed her mind.
Rose to Danielle's defense: Jamie O'Hara was understandably outraged by Leon's comments, and quick to retaliate
She posted yesterday: 'Right I've had a good chat to a very good friend of mine & decided I won't be coming off twitter am a strong women & I won't let anyone bring me down.
'I have a lovely husband & to beautiful kids and that's all that matters in life love my family & my fans thank u X [sic].
Danielle added later in the evening: 'Safe house the film, wine, and my hubby @mrjamieohara all I need to make me smile again Xxx.'
Prior to meeting Jamie in 2009, Danielle had several high-profile relationships with footballers, including Jermain Defoe, Teddy Sheringham and Marcus Bent.
