'Does my beard make me look thinner or fatter' TOWIE star Arg ponders over facial hair as he hits bootcamp to shift pounds
We all know the ideal way to get in shape is by gradually changing your lifestyle.
But James 'Arg' Argent is like the rest of the population – cramming his weight loss into six weeks.
The Only Way Is Essex reality star has now embarked on a gruelling boot camp regime in a bid to shift his excess pounds and improve his fitness before running the London Marathon on April 22.
Getting into shape: James 'Arg' Argent is battling his demons by sweating out his toxins at boot camp
Arg was seen sweating out the toxins while taking instructions from a personal trainer.
The wedding singer seemed rather
jovial ducking and diving his way through various activities, although
began wincing when he was forced to endure a series of push-ups.

Five more! Arg is seen wincing as he finishes off his push-ups
Arg has struggled with his weight,
compared to former co-stars Mark Wright and Kirk Norcross and current
eye candy Mario Falcone and Ricky Rayment.
The 24-year-old revealed he has
managed to shift some weight, tweeting: '@JoeyEssex_ Back Friday pal for
a couple nights! Wish I was there but u (sic) would be proud of me!
Lost nice bit of weight.'
He also spoke about his experimental
facial hair, revealing: 'Grown a beard and its getting quite long! Will
be off by Friday though. I'm just trying to work out if it makes me look
thinner or Fatter!!'
Practice makes perfect: Arg has less than two months to go, with the London Marathon taking place on April 22
Arg, who is hoping to complete the 26 mile challenge for Cancer
Research UK, revealed he's tipping the scales at 18st (252lb), despite dipping to 16st 4lb (228lb) last October.
His recent split with on/off girlfriend Lydia Bright has no doubt led to some comfort eating, but Arg is determined to 'prove everyone wrong'.
Last week, as Arg began his training
mission following the completion of series four, he tweeted: 'Death of
Large Arg n The Tubby Crooner! Lol. Isn't a single person who believes
I'll complete the LDN Marathon but I'll prove everyone wrong!'
