Earlier in the day she had dressed in a pretty and modest spotty dress to promote her latest film Madagascar 3.
But last night she swapped her sweet children-friendly style for a plummenting neckline, that swooped so low it fell down to her waist.
Jada stepped out in the shining emerald green ensemble to enjoy dinner with her film co-stars.

The dramatic neckline wasn't the only starling feature of the ensemble it also boasted pointed shoulder pads.
She finished off the fashion-forward look with slicked back hair.
Jada joined her film co-stars at the Tetou restaurant in Cannes for a group meal.

The actress joined Jessica Chastain, Chris Rock and Ben Stiller in the large group. It appeared that Ben liked the wine offered at the restaurant and was seen enjoying a glass of red.
While Jada decided on a wardrobe change Jessica kept her polka dot dress from earlier in the day but covered up with a black coat as she left the restaurant.

Perhaps Jada had changed because the women had stepped out in similar dresses.
Both stars had opted for dresses with spots at a photo call, with Jada opting for a while Versace dress with black specks.

The light colouring of the dress complemented her dark skin and the tightly fitted dress hugged her trim frame.
Meanwhile Jessica,35, decided on a flirty black dress by Dolce&Gabanna, which boasted white polka dots with black lace detail.
Despite being colour-coordinated rather like a girl-band, the pair didn't seem to mind and happily posed up together at the photo opportunity.

The female stars were joined by their co-stars including Ben Stiller, Chris Rock and David Schwimmer.
Sacha Baron Cohen, who is currently in character for his latest film The Dictator, did not attend.

The animated film tells the story of Alex the Lion,(Stiller), Marty the Zebra, (Rock), Melman the Giraffe (Schwimmer), and Gloria the Hippopotamus (Pinkett Smith), who set out to return to New York after escaping to Africa.
Their journey doesn't go to plan and the animal group find themselves in Monte Carlo.
Jessica plays the role of Gia the Jaguar who finds passion for showbusiness after meeting the group.
