Who's your new style icon Amy… Cheryl Cole Ms Childs channels Chewbacca with over-volumised hairdo

When Cheryl Cole arrived for the X Factor USA auditions back in May last year with an incredibly volumised new look, there was little expectation that it would be a trend to catch on.
But one person who obviously thought Cheryl stood out for all the right reasons is Amy Childs, who went for a similarly backcombed look for an appearance on Loose Women today.
The former TOWIE star ensured her red locks were teased as high as possible, meaning she ended up looking ready for a night out in Hollywood rather than an appearance on a lunchtime chat show.

She also bore more than a slight resemblance to Star Wars favourite Chewbacca with the scene-stealing style.
However, Amy looked more than happy
with her appearance as she posed up for photographers outside the ITV
studios after the interview.
The 21-year-old starlet opted for a
pretty lace dress for her TV appearance, teaming the outfit with pair of
taupe peep-toe heels.

After her interview on the show, Amy wrote on her Twitter page: 'Great
morning at loose women , thank you for all your lovely messages xxx'
However, Amy certainly looked slightly less glamorous as she arrived at the studios this morning with her hair in rollers ahead of her television appearance.
But in typical Essex girl style, Amy worked her curlers by donning a pair of big sunglasses and a wide smile as she made her way inside.

Amy's appearance on Loose Women came as she promoted her new fitness DVD Fit In 30 Days.
Talking recently about her reasons behind doing the DVD, Amy said: 'A lot of people ask me how I keep fit,
how do I tone up and I really thought “OK, you really need to bring out a
DVD to show people what you do to work out”.
'So it was a lot of people
on my Twitter asking, “Please can you bring a DVD out”.
'So I really
thought about it and I bought one out.'
She added: 'People
can have it to lose weight, to really tone up and to exercise.
just to lose weight; it’s a bit of everything. I did it to tone up but I
'I went down from a size ten to a size six. It’s a good workout.'
However, despite insisting she follows a pretty healthy diet, Amy admitted that she can sometimes slip up.
She said: 'I eat quite sensibly but I’m not going to
lie to you, I do like my bad food.
'I do like my McDonalds. But I do
really work hard with my fitness to enjoy my bad foods.'
