Red carpet studs: Idris Elba and David Furnish are unlikely style twins in same Christian Louboutin spiked shoes
It's unlikely Idris Elba was looking to David Furnish for style inspiration.
Yet at last night's Golden Globe awards, the pair were pictured wearing the same studded shoes by Christian Louboutin.
The Luther star accepted his award for best actor wearing a black suit and spiked 'Roller' boat shoes.

Elton John's other half wore the loafer versions of the same shoe.
Despite costing around 1,000, the unusual footwear by the designer has gained a cult celebrity following.
Last week, two members of boyband JLS were spotted wearing a similar pair.
Marvin Humes wore the same pair as Idris and David and Aston Merrygold wore the 'No-Limit' shoe.

The 1,100 No Limit shoe, described as 'having it all' is a concoction of studs, spikes and leopard-print.
Louboutin's men's shoes have proven so popular, he has opened a separate store in Paris.
The shop also launched a service in which it will replicate a client’s tattoo on a shoe, starting at around 5,000.
And as Mr Louboutin reportedly sells around 20 pairs a day, it seems this is one trend that is more than just a flash-in-the-pan.
