Her career may have appeared in cold storage, but now former TV golden girl Anthea Turner is gliding back into the spotlight.
The 50-year-old presenter put her troubles behind her to sign up for ITV’s Dancing On Ice – the programme, dubbed ‘the poor man’s Strictly’.
She looked trim in a black-and-white tracksuit as she was put through her paces at an ice rink in Guildford, Surrey, close to her 6 million home.

The star lost more than a stone in August after claims that Grant Bovey, her husband of 12 years, was having an affair.
Bovey denied the accusations, but the former Blue Peter girl threw him out.
However, the couple were reconciled a month later.

Mr Bovey’s daughters – Lily 20, Claudia, 16 and Amelia, ten – persuaded Miss Turner to take him back by acting as go-betweens.
A source said Miss Turner initially refused to take any of Mr Bovey’s calls but eventually agreed to talk to him at their home in Esher, Surrey, after her step-daughters pleaded with her to save her 12-year marriage.
The TV presenter follows in the skates of former Olympic swimmer Sharron Davies, Inbetweeners star Emily Atack, and Hollyoaks pin up Jorgie Porter, who have all taken a turn on the ice in previous years.
