A load of pants Hotpants can help lose weight and rid legs of cellulite by increasing perspiration by up to 80 per cent
Extra mile: Studies revealed that for every gram of perspiration, the body also burns half a calorie
Tamara Hardingham-Gill put Hotpants to the test, she says:
I began wearing the Hotpants during cycling sessions and while doing aerobics.
They are perfectly comfortable and don’t feel much different to standard cycling shorts, but the difference is clear once you peel them off.
I produced a staggering amount of sweat after my workout – the shorts were literally dripping wet.
I’ve been using them for almost two weeks now and have noticed a difference in my waistline and they also seemed to have reduced the appearance of cellulite on my thighs.
I have gone down one dress size so far, and apart from an uncomfortable moment when I forget to take them off after a yoga session and noticed several people staring at me in the supermarket (they make a lot of noise when you walk), the experience has overall been positive.
The combination of exercise and the hotpants has been noticeable, but they are no quick fix to inch loss.
The more you do in them, the better they work, so those who think they can just walk around in the pants will probably come off disappointed.
