Heather Mills is recovering in hospital after breaking her shoulder in a skiing accident.
The animal rights campaigner had been training for the Paralympic Winter Games in the Austrian resort of Molltaler when the accident occurred on Wednesday morning.
Miss Mills, 43, was practising slalom on the slopes when she crashed into a plastic pole, which had become as hard as steel due to the cold weather.

Following the accident, the mother-of-one was taken to the Lienz Hospital by helicopter.
Hospital spokesman Alfred Fast told Austrian newspaper Kleine Zeitung that “no surgery was necessary” and she had been released today.
While in hospital, the area surrounding her bed was cordoned off to give her privacy.
But she apparently took the injury in her stride, telling local broadcaster ORF: “That”s skiing, you know.”
Miss Mills, who lost her leg below the knee in a 1993 accident, also had another skiing accident in January.
