She is one of the world”s most famous models who stayed looking youthful even as she hit her 50s.

But as her 60th birthday approaches, has Marie Helvin succumbed to beauty treatments in an attempt to turn back the clock

Helvin, 58, was a guest at a the British Heart Foundation “Tunnel of Love” party in central London last night.

What

What”s wrong with this picture Model Marie Helvin looked as though she”d indulged in some lip-plumping treatment as she attended a charity do yesterday

She posed for pictures and looked her stylish self and kept it chic but simple in black trousers, a beige jumper and a black jacket.

She accessorised her look with a Louis Vuitton clutch bag and peep-toed heels.

But there was something not quite right about her appearance and on closer inspection, it was her face that stood out – but unfortunately not for the right reasons.

It wasn”t her amazing cheekbones that she was blessed with or her sparkling eyes that stood out, but her mouth.

Marie looked as though she had undergone some filler treatment on her lips, which were not just puffier but wonky on the left hand side.

Last February, Marie revealed that she used a 300 device called Slendertone Face that uses electrical impulses to tone your facial muscles – could something have gone wrong while she used it

Her publicist from Models 1 denied she had undergone any treatment, and speaking to Mail Online said: “I am not aware that she has had anything done.”

She hadn”t seen the photo but said she suspected it was taken at an “odd angle” and added: “I was with her yesterday and she looked like she usually does.”

Marie was one of the best known faces of fashion in the Eighties and Nineties, and modelled for Yves Saint Laurent, Versace and Valentino.

She was also married to photographer David Bailey for ten years from 1975.
