Sporting a strange mustache and a five-o'clock shadow, Ed Westwick made his runway debut this weekend during Milan's latest spring/summer menswear shows.

Usually seen wearing dinner suits featuring paisley, plaid, and bow ties for his character Chuck Bass on The CW's Gossip Girl, the 24-year-old looked every bit a stereotypical Italian mafioso in Philipp Plein's 2013 spring collection.

Sashaying down the runway, he wore a bomber jacket with low-cut v-neck T-shirt and white jeans for his opening look, and then sported a high-neck black button-up shirt and a pale blue blazer for his second outfit.

The brand, which combines rock-’n-roll with classic style and luxury, recently designed the outfits for the Formula 1 drivers.

Chace Crawford, Mr Westwick's Gossip
Girl co-ctar, also attended the Milan menswear shows, sitting in the
front row of Versace's new collection.

In a recent interview with Garance Dore, Mr Westwick revealed how the Chuck Bass style has influenced his own.

He said: 'My character on Gossip Girl
has a really strong sense of style. He is not afraid to express himself
and wear what he wants.

'In
my personal life now, I don’t wear a lot of bow ties, cause I feel like
my character on Gossip Girl always does so I kind of run away from that
a little bit more.

'I like to dress up sometimes, but mostly, I end up a little more casual,' he added.

The actor, who will also play the role of Tybalt in Carlo Carlei’s version of Romeo and Juliet, told WWD after the show: It’s my birthday on Wednesday and my mum will take me out for dinner.'
