'It's time to comeback': Nadine Coyle confirms a Girls Aloud reunion will happen next year
United: Nadine Coyle wants Girls Aloud to tour again
After a failed attempt at solo success, Nadine Coyle has finally admitted that Girls Aloud should reunite.
The 26-year-old believes that the time is right for the girls to tour together as their ten year anniversary approaches.
However, with the solo success of Cheryl Cole, it may be difficult to guarantee the full line-up.
Nadine told the Sunday Mirror: 'It's time to come back. At the end of the year it would have been ten years and it feels like the right time to regroup.
'I know everyone's been speculating about what we will do.'
She continued: 'It will be arena dates at the start of next year and we will have new music to go with it.'
Band mate Kimberley Walsh shares the same thoughts as Nadine and spoke last year about her hopes for the band.
Kimberley briefly talked about reuniting with the girls on The Alan Titchmarsh Show and revealed that the girls had spoken about it.
'We are definitely talking about plans for
next year because it's our 10-year anniversary so we don't know exactly
what it's going to be,' she told the host.
Can't wait! Kimberley Walsh seen signing autographs after appearing on The Alan Titchmarsh Show where she spoke about a Girls Aloud reunion
'I can't give too much information but we'll
definitely be doing something together again which will be lovely.'
Meanwhile, Nicola Roberts was a little more reserved with her ambitions for all the girls getting back together and said: 'I can’t say if Sarah will want to join the tour.'
A band spokesman said: ‘No official plans have been announced.’
The band: Nadine, Nicola Roberts, Sarah Harding, Cheryl Cole and Kimberley
The band, including Cheryl Cole,
Sarah Harding, Nadine Coyle and Nicola Roberts, have been busy with
separate projects over the past few years.
Kimberley is enjoying her five-month stint in Shrek at the Drury Lane Theatre alongside former EastEnders star Nigel Harman.
Meanwhile Cheryl endured a two-year stint on The X Factor and a briefly appeared on the U.S. version of the show before Simon Cowell famously axed her.
