Today is set to be a glamorous day for Geri Halliwell so maybe that's why she steered clear of make-up yesterday.
The 39-year-old star stepped out in London bare-faced ahead of her stint as an X Factor judge which will begin with auditions in Liverpool today.
Joining fellow female singer Tulisa Contostavlos on the panel, Geri is no doubt planning a showstopping look for her time on the show.
Bare-faced: Geri Halliwell heads home from a shopping trip wearing no make-up whatsoever
As she headed home today, the former Spice Girl was seen carrying several shopping bags so perhaps she's been buying new clothes to wear on the reality TV show.
However, to shop in, Geri clearly prefers to wear casual clothes and teamed a black leather biker jacket with grey trousers and flat boots.
She wore her blonde hair down in a messy style and covered her make-up free eyes with a pair of sunglasses as she chatted on her mobile phone.
Yesterday it was revealed that Geri has been chosen as a permanent judge on the ITV1 show, rather than just a guest.

The mother-of-one has been asked to replace U.S. singer Kelly Rowland – who joined the panel last year but refused to return this time round.
According to The Sun, TV bosses have told Geri: 'It’s your job to lose,' and will see how she gets on with the first few rounds of auditions.
Sources have apparently revealed that tomorrow's slot is actually a 'trial run' for a permanent position on the show.
Will she fit in Geri will replace Kelly Rowland on the judging panel and join Louis Walsh, Tulisa Contostavlos and Gary Barlow
'Geri is not just a guest judge — she is our judge-in-waiting,' said a senior show source.
'We want her to do it and she wants to do it. We will be watching her like a hawk at Liverpool and fingers crossed it will go well and she’ll be signed. We’re not talking to anyone else.'
The former popstar is said to be 'bursting at the seams with excitement' which will explain the grin that was plastered across her face as she headed home yesterday.
Already had some practice: The mother-of-one filled in for a pregnant Dannii Minogue at the 2010 Glasgow auditions
If she is offered a place on the show, Geri will sign a 400,000 contract.
It will not be the first time that she has voice her opinion on the X Factor as back in 2010 she stood in for a pregnant Dannii Minogue in the Glasgow auditions.
Geri also appeared on Popstars: The Rivals in 2002 as a guest judge so she has plenty of experience in the department.
