Most people go to Paris for a romantic break with a partner, but Geri Halliwell decided to go with another loved one.

The former Spice Girl was seen jogging around the French capital, on Wednesday, enjoying some one on one time with her daughter Bluebell.

Geri, 40, spent the afternoon chasing Bluebell around Paris as the pair let their hair down and spent the day being tourists.

While Geri wrapped up warm for the cold city jaunt, Bluebell's childlike exuberance was enough to keep her warm as she gave her mother the run around.

Geri looked cool and low key in a long thick black coat which she teamed with a pair of knee-high boots and trendy shades.

Bluebell emulated her mother's sense of style by also wearing a pair boots, which she matched with some pink trousers and a navy blue jumper.

Geri may have been interested in seeing the beautiful architecture in Paris, but Bluebell was more concerned with having fun.

The plucky six-year-old was having the time of her life as she spent the afternoon sprinting around with the Eiffel Tower acting as her playground.

Bluebell squirmed and wriggled as her mother tried with great effort to get her to pose for a photograph.

Eventually Geri got the memorable picture that she wanted and then Bluebell was free to enjoy herself as the duo explored the area.

After visiting the acclimatization garden, they went for a walk and took some pictures of the Trocadero after screaming on a fair ground ride.

The Daily Mirror reported earlier this month the singer has signed a new seven-figure record deal and is looking to release her first solo album in seven years.

'Music is my passion. I’ve been writing for some time now and have still got a couple of tracks to go, so it’s not completely finished yet,' she told the paper.

'Although I’m so passionate about music, about what I do, it’s actually hard to admit that that’s what you’re really wanting to do. It sets you up for a fall, I guess.'

'But I’m going for it and it’s great to hear nice feedback.'
