A revolutionary new hair care product has entered the market.

Taking inspiration from the priceless product dry shampoo, hair care brands from Pantene to Schwarzkoft have released its successor, dry conditioner.

Using oils and nutrients and turning them into a powder-like aerosol, dry conditioner delivers as much care to dry, damaged hair as regular leave-in conditioner, without having to get it wet.

While dry shampoo aims to soak up
excess oils from unwashed hair, turning a greasy scalp or fringe into
fresh tresses, dry conditioner is supposed to add shine and
protection to coarse, scraggly and chemically-treated ends.

Refinery 29 quizzed celebrity stylist Danilo about the new product.

He
said the difference between these sprays and a regular leave-in
conditioner, which often leaves hair feeling heavy, is the fact that the
oils and nutrients are 'suspended in powdered or dry form'.

'You can spray them on your hair without getting it wet and messing up your style.

'I enjoy dry conditioners as a finish,' he added.

'They enhance and texturize while doing
good by your hair at the same time. They are also a great way to get
fresh hair to achieve an undone, tousled finish and a great way to give
lackluster hair a pump up without a full shampoo, condition, and
blowout.

'You can first use dry shampoo and then dry conditioner on clean or dirty hair.'

Together, dry shampoo and conditioner
make an effortless team when it comes to cutting down on the lengthy
beauty routine of washing, blow drying and styling your hair.

Recently,
Schwarzkof introduced Got2b Rockin’ It Encore Finish dry conditioner as
a complement to its Got2b Rockin’ It Encore Fresh dry shampoo, supposedly
available at chains including CVS, Walgreens, Rite Aid and Ulta.
