As a mother-to-be, Fearne Cotton was probably really looking forward little trick or treaters coming by her house during Halloween on Wednesday evening.
But unfortunately for the star, some of her visitors weren't that well behaved.
Telling listeners of her Radio 1 show on Thursday, Fearne described the moment she was 'pelted with toffees' when one child didn't like the treats she had given him.
Not a toffee fan: Fearne Cotton said she got 'pelted with toffees' by one trick or treater
Describing her encounter with the rude little trick or treater on the air, Fearne said: 'At about 8.30pm, the doorbell went for the last time and I answered; there were three little kids there.'
'The first kid said to me, “Have you got any money” and I said, “No, you can have a sweet”. The oldest kid took a big handful of sweets and walked back down the path.'
'As the other two little kids took sweets for themselves, the older kid shouts, “I don't like these ones” and starts throwing toffees at my face.'
Rude little boy: Fearne said she was too shocked to respond to the toffee thrower
The rude outbursts of the ill-mannered little boy left Fearne too shocked to come up with a good comeback.
'Usually I'm quite feisty and would go, “Excuse me, get out of here”,' she said.
'But I was so shocked I just stood there looking at him getting pelted with toffees. This morning there was a debris of sweets everywhere in my front garden.'
Forgetting all about her Halloween disappointment, Fearne stepped out on Friday looking as glamorous as ever.
She does NOT know what she's having: The presenter took to Twitter to dismiss rumours she's expecting a girl
Dressed in a soft pink warm coat, a grey knitted jumper dress and comfortable leopard print ballet slippers, the presenter looked every inch the style queen.
And after reading reports claiming Fearne had told a fan she was expecting a girl, the presenter took to Twitter to set the record straight on Thursday and Friday.
'Some reports saying im having a girl. I DONT know what im having so these stories are false,' she wrote, followed by: 'Still seeing articles announcing im having a girl. As i said yesterday i DONT even know what im having. End of!'
