Fearne Cotton makes a quick change from scruffy Radio 1 DJ in to a glossy fashion designer to kick off London Fashion week with her Very own catwalk show
19:57 GMT, 13 September 2012
DJ and presenter Fearne Cotton is known for her off beat style and tonight she show cased two very different sides of her wardrobe.
Leaving the Radio One studios the blonde star, who announced she was pregnant last month, showed off her growing baby bump in an eccentric outfit featuring a bright red dress, leopard print ballet pumps and a white faux fur coat.
Just a few hours later the 31-year-old was glossy and groomed as she posed for photographers at a London Fashion Week catwalk event to celebrate her fourth season as a designer for online store very.co.uk.

The exclusive show was set in the French
Salon at the five star Claridges hotel, which Fearne and her team
transformed it in to an English country garden .. complete with a
champagne bar for her celebrity friends and the fashion editors that
were there to see Fearne's latest designs come to life
The spring/summer 2013 show featured 24 looks from Fearne's latest collection: an eclectic mix of floral
prints, lace and bold colours, following the mix-match prints seen on
the catwalk from the world’s biggest designer names.
The show featured a cheerful melange of prints and pieces that fit
Fearne’s fun and upbeat personality.

Classic styles were updated with unique details including a tailored beige Mac with chintzy
print cuffs and blue denim jeans with pink fluoro ribboning.
Fearne had also created more experimental and directional pieces, with girly floral
dresses transformed by mesh inserts and crisp pointed collars, sweeping
maxi dresses with digital prints and neon numbers with white lace
As she prepared for the show today Fearne told the MailOnline:
'For Spring Summer ’13, I imagined my collection being worn by a classic English rose in a beautiful country garden but I also wanted her to be edgy.
'My designs are based around the eccentric pieces I think she would wear; floaty dresses, but with bold and bright prints and girly floral jeans teamed with tough tailored peplum tops. My goal was to create clothes to look both beautiful in and have fun in.

'The show is one of my favourite parts
of the design process for Very; and is a chance to really show people my
inspiration for the collection – not just the clothes but also the hair
and make-up, set build and music, which all work together to really
bring my vision to life.'
Very.co.uk Director, Jon Owen said, 'Fearne’s SS13 collection is her most stylish and exciting to date, somehow she manages to strengthen her designs every season and SS13 is no exception.
'Fearne’s range makes celebrity style accessible to all and fantastic events like this allow Very.co.uk to bring the world of fashion into our customers’ homes, it's no wonder Fearne is one of our most loved celebrity designers.'
