The British actress, 37, showcased her fiery mane last night as she attended the premiere for W.E.; greeting fans alongside director Madonna.

The Silent Witness star, whose father is the veteran actor Edward Fox, has parted company with her daughter’s father, peace activist Gilley, 46.

Their separation may come as a shock as just over a year ago they welcomed the arrival of their baby daughter, Rose.

A close friend said: 'It is very sad,
they seemed so happy at the beginning, but that’s life. It was gradual
but they weren’t getting on in the easy way they used to and were
spending increasing amounts of time apart.'

Gilley,
a close friend of Jude Law, was often away from home, sometimes
visiting up to 30 countries a year to forge new connections for his
charity.

A Peace One Day

months but the primary focus for both of them is their united love for
their young daughter and her well-being.'
