SPOILER ALERT: EastEnders' Derek Branning finds it hard to control his temper as his son Joey returns to Albert Square

In a special hour long episode last week, EastEnders fans watched as Derek Branning almots met his match.
The Albert Square hardman was confronted by his son Joey, who declared he would have nothing to do with his father, but that wasn't the last that viewers will see of the young character.
Joey (played by David Witts) will return to Walford next month, along with his sister Alice (Jasmyn Banks), after their father tries his best to make amends with them and invites them to a family lunch with his own sister Carol.

However, it doesn't take long for things
to turn nasty again as Joey decides to wind his father up by bringing
along some of Albert Sqaure's youngsters along too including Lucy Beale

However, it seems that Joey takes
after his father as in another image he is seen punching a male admirer
of Lucy's outside the chip shop.
Meanwhile, viewers of the BBC1 soap
may find it hard to tune in tonight as they watch Michael Moon (Steve
John Shepherd) come to terms with the fact that his daughter has been
born premature and is fighting for her life in hospital.
Last week, his new wife Janine Butcher (Charlie Brooks) went into labour on their wedding day and had an emergency cesarean.
