She hit the headlines a couple of months ago when she went public with her toyboy lover a month after her marriage ended.
And today, Denise Welch gushed about Lincoln Towney and said she thinks he is is The One.
But the Loose Women star said even though she feels that strongly, she doesn't want to tempt fate.
He's The One: Denise Welch and toyboy Lincoln Towney, seen here in London last week, have spoken about their relationship
In a joint interview with Towney for Bella magazine, when asked if he was 'The One', Denise, 53, said: 'Yeah I do, definitely. But I’m so terrified of tempting fate.
'We have the same sense of humour. It’s like having a gay best friend who I really fancy. I like his hot young man’s body.'
Lincoln, 39, was equally as complimentary when he spoke about the first time he saw the actress.
He said: 'I found her very attractive. We met in a
nightclub at one of my parties.
Split: Denise and Lincoln went public not long after her 24-year marriage to actor Tim Healy came to an end
'At the end of last year we looked at being together.'
Denise and Lincoln announced they were a couple not long after she revealed that her 24-year-marriage to actor Tim Healy was over when she broke down on Loose Women.
Denise is also planning to reveal more about Lincoln, her split from Tim and her time in the Big Brother house and winning the show, in her latest book, Starting Over, due to be released in September and which she is writing between performances of her theatre show Steel Magnolias.
Denise said: 'An awful lot has happened since then.'
Emotional: Denise broke down live on Loose Women, which she co-hosts, as she revealed she and Tim were over
But she added to Bella that she wouldn't have been put off Lincoln if he'd had a few skeletons in his closet and has introduced him to her children, Matthew, 22, and Louis, ten.
She said: 'I am a very good judge of character. There’s no way I would bring anyone into my children’s life I’m not 100 per cent sure of.
'I’m not interested in men who haven’t had a drink, haven’t had a wild time. But I’m not going to put myself in a position where I’m involved in a murky world.'
The full interview appears in this week’s Bella, on sale tomorrow.
Victorious: Denise was crowned the winner of this year's Celebrity Big Brother
