They've been friends for years so it's no surprise that David Beckham took friend Guy Ritchie out on Sunday night to celebrate his engagement to girlfriend Jacqui Ainsley.
With wife Victoria Beckham in tow, the British footballer met the Lock Stock director and his wife-to-be at Mastro's Restaurant in Los Angeles for a slap-up meal.
Instead of leaving the restaurant and going on somewhere to party, the Beckham's decided to do a spot of late night grocery shopping at Bristol Farms.

Quick stop-off: David runs into the store to pick up a few things while Victoria waits in the car
Victoria was clearly the designated
driver for the night as she pulled the couple's black Range Rover into
the car park of supermarket.
a long-sleeved black shirt and with her long dark hair styled in waves
which fell over her shoulders, the fashion designer waited in the car
while her husband was sent into the shop to pick up a few essentials.
LA Galaxy star looked suave in navy trousers, brown shoes and a
tight-fitting blue jumper, pulled over a crisp white shirt as he made
his way into the shop.
Here comes the hotstepper: David dashed back to the car where wife Victoria was waiting with his bag of treats
The footballer emerged a little while later carrying two bags groceries which seemed to contain a large bag of apples, among other things.
The star looked stoney-faced as he made his way to his waiting wife, suggesting that he hadn't had too much of a raucous night with his friend.
Guy and his heavily pregnant wife-to-be were spotted jetting out of LAX the next morning so perhaps made sure that their night out on Sunday was a quiet one.

Although they seem settled in LA, recent reports suggest that the couple might be moving back to the UK at the end of the year with their children Brooklyn, 13, Romeo, 10, Cruz, seven, and Harper, 15 months.
The reports come at the same time as rumours that Victoria is all set to have her fifth child.
The Beckhams left the UK for their new
life in LA in 2007 but have been spending a lot of time in the UK this
year following David's involvement in the London 2012 Olympics.
David agreed to a one-year extension deal with LA Galaxy last year, amid rumours that the family was moving to Paris.
