She will get to wear some of the most stunning outfits during her time on Dancing With The Stars.

But even when she's not performing, Katherine Jenkins still manages to look both radiant and effortlessly elegant, as she proved when she arrived for rehearsals yesterday.

The 31-year-old star looked ladylike in a pretty grey and white patterned skater-style dress teamed with a pair of sky-high tan slingback heels.

However, while Katherine looked stunning in her outfit, it's not the usual look she goes for in rehearsals.

In fact, the Welsh singer had just come from an interview on E! News with her dance partner Mark Ballas.

Tweeting a picture of herself on the
set of the programme, Katherine wrote: 'Out of anything I've ever done,
my cousin Hannah is most excited/impressed that I'm going to be on the
E! News.'

Katherine and Mark will no doubt be hoping to recreate their previous success on DWTS when the show returns on Monday night.

The pair won rave reviews from the judges following their foxtrot, which judge Carrie Ann Inaba told them was the ‘best first dance on the first episode ever’.

But the couple are likely to face strong competition from fellow competitors including Maria Menounos, who is determined to move things up a gear this week with a sizzling Quickstep.

The Extra host, 33, looked in good spirits as she headed to a 'long rehearsal' with her professional partner Derek Hough yesterday.

Wearing a tight pair of shiny trousers and off-the-shoulder T-shirt, the Greek-American star looked ready for action.

Ahead of rehearsals, she admitted having a special treatment to sooth her sore muscles.

She tweeted: 'In my Epsom salt bath as I tweet… Long rehearsal today. Need tons of endurance for this quick step we got planned for Monday.'

And it appears Hough – who has won DWTS twice with Nicole Scherzinger and Jennifer Grey in recent years – has been putting her through her paces.

She wrote on Twitter: 'Quickstep is kicking my butt!!!!!!'

Menounos also uploaded a humorous video on her website, suggesting Hough is quite the demanding choreographer.

An attentive Menounos then squirted a bottle of water into his mouth, before he jumps up shouting: 'OK, let's go.'

On Monday's debut show of the new series, the pair had the nervous task of being the first couple to dance.

They performed a Cha Cha Cha to Kelly Clarkson's Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You), ending up with 21.
