It's arguably the most famous adult magazine in the world, and is something of a privilege to be asked to feature within its pages.
But Daisy Lowe has revealed she was shocked when she saw her pictorial spread in Playboy magazine, because she didn't realise the shots would show so much.
The British model said she got nervous about her decision when
she realised the world would be able to see every part of her body.
'Freaked out!' Daisy Lowe has revealed she was shocked when she first saw her raunchy shoot for Playboy magazine
She admitted: 'When I got the email
with the pictures, I was quite shocked by the last photo. I thought,
“Did they have to show that much of it” I was a little freaked out.'
while Daisy's mother, former rocker Pearl Lowe, refused to look at the
pictures, it was her grandmother encouraged her.
Daisy revealed her grandmother told her: 'Oh darling, if you've got it,
flaunt it, you'll be happy about it when you're 60.'
Revealing: Daisy is certainly no stranger to stripping off, having previously modelled very little for Agent Provocateur
Refreshing attitude: Daisy has admitted she has
realised she will never be as slim as her fellow models because she
loves her food too much
The full interview with Daisy appears in this month's InStyle magazine
The pretty brunette also opened up about her body issues in the September issue of InStyle magazine.
In the candid chat she freely admits that constantly being surrounded by skinny models can make her feel big.
But she has realised she's not meant to be a tiny frame.
She told the magazine: 'I ate a kilogram of fudge in the past two weeks. But I love eating.
'I don’t think I’ve ever missed a meal.
'I’m not built that way and I don’t like watching what I eat. One of life’s finest things is enjoying your food.'
But she happily added: 'Of course, there are times when I’ve stood next to models and felt like an elephant, but I’m adamant about the fact that I’m not a big girl, I just have the natural feminine figure.
'While I appreciate how thin some of the models are – when it’s healthy – and think, ‘Yeah, you’re gorgeous and the clothes hang off you amazingly’, I like to stay strong about how I’m built.'
