In May of this year Love made a public statement that she was tired of her reputation as a drug addict.
“I”ve been maligned as this drug freak for years, and I”m getting tired of it,” she said. “That”s not the way I live anymore. I try to work a good program. I don”t do smack. I don”t do crack anymore.”

That”s a sentiment that applies aptly to aging rock star Courtney.
