With that perfected pout and those abundant blonde locks,
Dakota Johnson first turned heads in the cinematic world through performances
in The Social Network and 21 Jump Street.
But the 22-year-old American actress, who is the daughter of
Melanie Griffith and Don Johnson, has sparked the attention of the fashion pack
after being announced as the star of a forthcoming advertising campaign by Uniqlo,
a Japanese clothing brand.
It is the second major campaign that the
starlet has been featured in just this month. Oliver Peoples, a Californian eye wear label, has also
released images of the actress modelling its new range of sunglasses.

The pretty blonde, who signed on as a model with IMG Models
in 2006, first caught the attention of the style set after she served as Miss Golden
Globe in 2006.
Although she was just 16 at the time, her striking looks provided
quite the distraction when she presented some of Hollywood’s biggest names with
their gold statues.
The Texas-born beauty was photographed for the new Uniqlo
campaign, which currently has no date for release within the U.S., in Southern California earlier this month. Although only one image has
been unveiled so far, Miss Johnson told WWD that the shoot reflected her own 'casual'
She will be shown modelling the brand's 'easy legging pants',
made from cotton-polyester-spandex, which will be available in the U.S. in a
range of bright colours.
In the family: The young star has appeared in The Social Network and 21 Jump Street and plays a small role in the new The Five-Year Engagement. She was photographed with her famous parents, above, in 2006
She said: 'I like things that are comfortable and make me
feel good. I like good colours. I like red a lot.'
The new It girl remained loyal to her Oliver Peoples duties
during the shoot as WWD also reported that she sported a pair of the brand's
sunglasses while she was photographed for Uniqlo.
Miss Johnson received her break into the modeling world in 2009 when she was was photographed wearing Mango's denim line for one of the fashion label's advertising campaigns.
But as the fashion jobs come in, the budding fashionista is not likely to leave her actor roots behind altogether.

Star value: She has also featured in a new campaign for Oliver Peoples, a Californian eye wear company
has a small role in the forthcoming The Five-Year Engagement starring
alongside Emily Blunt and Jason Segel and has several other film
projects in the works.
Miss Johnson was spotted at The Five-Year Engagement's New York premiere last week which also doubled as the opening night event for the Tribeca Film Festival.
It was no doubt a major coup for the actress, who has previously featured on the big screen in only cameo appearances.
She was also spotted in an edgy all-black ensemble, rocking out to the band AWOL Nation at California's Coachella music festival last weekend.
