If Christina Hendricks wasn't already sexy enough, she decided to sizzle the synapses of everyone present at The Act nightclub in Las Vegas tonight in a stunning red gown.

The flame-haired goddess took Sin City back to an altogether more glamorous era – now buried under backpacks and neon plastic drink holders in the shape of the Eiffel Tower – by slipping into a bright red sequin gown.

The outfit was cunning in its simplicity; no ruffles, gimmicks or accessories just shapely red, red sparkle to match the Mad Men star's hair and to show off her hourglass figure in fine style.

Earlier in the day, the 37-year-old siren had visited the opening of a new Chopard boutique – presided over by the great Sir Elton John and his partner, David Furnish.

Hendricks has had a busy weekend as she and January Jones stole the show at a charity dinner in Beverly Hills on Friday night.

The pair looked stunning at the Peace Over Violence Humanitarian Awards Dinner on Friday.

The hit AMC show was being honoured at the star-studded event.

For that occasion Christina paired a curve-hugging green dress with gold shoes.

The actress made headlines this month after branding a reporter 'rude' for referring to her 'full figure'.

She was offended when she was asked by Australian newspaper fashion editor about her shape, getting her publicist to ask the journalist to rephrase her question.

Kate Waterhouse, from Sydney’s Sun-Herald newspaper, asked: 'You have been an inspiration as a full-figured woman. What is the most inspiring story that you can remember where you've inspired someone'

Seeming a little flustered at the question, Christina replied: 'Um, I don’t know… I’m sorry.'
The video footage becomes particularly uncomfortable as Christina looks at her PR representative to step in.

But again Kate asked: 'You've been known as an inspiration for women as being a full-figure…'
Christina interjects, telling the journalist: 'I mean… You just said it again.'

According to E! Online, Christina later said:off-camera, ‘I think calling me full-figured is just rude.’

Christina is expected to begin filming the sixth season of Mad Men later this month with some members of the cast heading to Hawaii to film the opener.
