Half the man he used to be: DJ Chris Moyles shows off his slimmed down figure at Ivor Novellos

Since leaping to fame in the late Nineties, Chris Moyles has always been known for being a hard-drinking, larger-than-life Northern DJ.
But arriving at the Ivor Novello Awards in London this afternoon, the 38-year-old was nearly half the man he used to be
After steadily losing weight over the years, it looks like the Yorkshireman has really stepped things up a gear in recent months.
Trim: DJ Chris Moyles shows off his trim figure as he arrives at the Ivor Novello Awards at London's Grosvenor House Hotel today
Wearing a black suit and grey T-shirt, the breakfast DJ's face looked more chiselled and defined, with his neck noticeable slimmer.
His slimmed down figure comes after he was revealed as one of the castmembers of Andrew Lloyd Webber's new production of Jesus Christ Superstar.
Moyles will play King Herod alongside Tim Minchin (Judas Iscariot) and Melanie Chisholm (Mary Magdalene) in the touring production of the musical, which starts at London's O2 Arena in September.
Slow and steady: Moyles was several stone heavier when he filmed the first series of his Chris Moyles Quiz Night in 2009
Given his Twitter updates, he's obviously taken up jogging and has also been seeing a physiotherapist frequently.
He wrote earlier this month: 'AARRGGHHHH. Why do my nipples bleed when I run. My arms don't, my legs or knees don't, but my nipples do. What's wrong with them. Stupid nips.'
As well as running, he's also enlisted the help of personal trainer Jamie Sawyer.
Surprising casting: Moyles with his Jesus Christ Superstar co-stars Tim Minchin and Melanie Chisholm and composer Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber
One of his listeners recently accused Moyles of being 'less funny' now he was slimmer.
But Moyles retweeted the comment, which read: 'Since u lost weight, u lost all ur fun and appeal. Dom and Dave carry the Show,' and added his own reply: 'Pipe down you ugly Paddy McGuinness #virgin.'
Ten years ago, he lost a whopping three stone after cutting back on his drinks and curry habit.
Still a bit to go: Moyle was still quite a bit heavier when he filmed The Love Machine with Stacey Solomon earlier this year
