It's only the middle of April.

But Cheryl Cole is already preparing for next year by shooting her 2013 calendar.

With a busy eight months ahead with the release of her third album and a possible Girls Aloud reunion, the 28-year-old is making sure she gets the next calendar out of the way early.

And giving fans a sneak peek at one of the month's looks, her PA Lily England tweeted a photo of the former X Factor judge having her make-up done.

England wrote: 'The Chezmeister getting made-up for her calendar, which month do you think this should be'

With her long brunette locks swept up into a bouffant up-do, Cheryl was wearing long fake eyelashes and had her eyes closed as she had her eyeshadow done.

But there was no hint to what outfit she was wearing as she sat wearing just a towel.

Her calendar shoot comes as Cheryl tweeted her excitement about premiring her new single on Radio 1 on Friday.

Call My Name, written and produced by Calvin Harris, will be heard for the first time on April 20 at 8.10am.

And the accompanying video, which was shot on location in Los Angeles earlier this month, will premiere on Vevo on May 2.

The single is the first release from her third album A Million Lights, which is available to download on June 18.

The album features collaborations with Alex Da Kid, Lana Del Rey, Jim Beanz and newcomers Pantha and HyGrade and her manger will.i.am.

The single will be Cheryl's first release since The Flood in January 2011, which charted at No.18 in the UK charts.

Cheryl only released two singles from her second album Messy Little Raindrops – Promise This and The Flood – with the former being her second No.1 single.

During her two solo albums – which have both hit No.1 in the UK charts, Cheryl has only released a total of five solo singles.
