No hard feelings then Gary Barlow backs disgraced X Factor protg Frankie Cocozza to win Celebrity Big Brother

Ousted X Factor finalist Frankie Cocozza looks set to turn around his shamed career by winning Celebrity Big Brother tonight.

The 19-year-old, who was kicked out of the ITV1 singing competition over alleged cocaine use, has become a strong favourite to win the show with bookies William Hill giving him odds of 11/10 to be crowned champion of Celebrity Big Brother 2012.

The wild haired teenager has got some strong backing in the form of his old X Factor mentor Gary Barlow.

The Mancunian crooner has once again decided to publicly support Frankie for the first time since he was booted off the show.

The Take That singer said on Twitter: 'Come on @FrankieCocozza I hope you win mate.'

While Frankie's behaviour inside the house has been consistently juvenile, his popularity with viewers went up after Bumgate.

Cocozza stuck up for Denise Welch after the twins and Nicola McLean began to verbally abuse her.

The gallant boy from Brighton was then also sworn at by Karissa and Kristina Shannon and was told by them that the police had been called into the house to arrest him for sexual harassment.

Romeo, who was evicted earlier this week, told the Daily Star how well he thinks Frankie handled the situation.

The twins are now most likely to be voted out of the house first tonight followed by Hollywood actor Michael Madsen.

The Playboy models think that they have a good chance of winning the show, however, and discussed the competition today.

Karissa said to Kristina: 'We are in the final, we won! Whether we get first place, third place, fourth place, it doesn’t matter. If we leave first I don’t care but I want to win first. I think we will win first, if we do I’m going to die!'

Frankie already has two Big Brother titles after today being named the housemate with the biggest hair and Most Irritating Housemate.

Throughout the day, the five celebrity finalists had been voting in seven categories for the winners of their Celebrity Big Brother 2012 Awards.

When voting earlier, Gareth told Big Brother: 'Frankie’s style’s a crow’s nest on top of his head and it still looks good.'

The Twins had other ideas and said: 'it looks like Frankie killed a possum, dragged it through the forest and glued it to his head.'

The twins also moaned that they should have won Sexiest Housemate, which went to Romeo, so they collected it on his behalf.

Gareth and Natalie Cassidy tied for the Best Housemate award and the twins ended up empty handed.
