She was seen planting a smacker on Dictator actor Sacha Baron Cohen yesterday in Cannes.
But today Beth Ditto was seen making a rather more heartfelt embrace with her girlfriend Kristen Ogata on the red carpet at the Rust and Bone premiere.
The pair kissed unselfconsciously as they made their arrival together, Beth looking delighted to express her love for her wife-to-be.
Besotted: Beth Ditto and her girlfriend Kristin Ogata shared a heartfelt embrace at the Rust And Bones premiere today at Cannes
Both women wore black, with Beth choosing a corseted Gothic-style dress and Kristen wearing a suit jacket and white shirt.
The besotted couple couldn't keep their eyes off each other, and were beaming ear to ear as they greeted the waiting photographers.
The pair are planning to tie the knot in Hawaii in June 2013.
Planning to wed: The couple are due to marry in Hawaii in June, because that's where Kristen is from
Beth has said: 'I'm getting married next year to my partner Kristen in June. I'm doing it in Hawaii because my girlfriend is from there.'
The singer's engagement ring has a flower-shaped setting with a round diamond.
The couple knew each other for several years before they became an item because Kristen worked as the Standing in the Way of Control singer's assistant.

Although Beth had developed strong feelings for Kristen she waited until her nine-year relationship with transgender Freddie Fagula ended in January 2010 before embarking on a romance with Kristen.
She has said previously: 'It was something that I kept hidden deep inside of me. But everyone knew. Even people are parties and clubs would be like, “When are they (me and Kristen) going to get together” There was always a little guilt inside of me because I felt I was cheating, but I never cheated.

'We never did anything … I dated Freddie for nine years, and I was always worried it was going to end. With Kristen I never worry about it ending, I just feel completely full and whole.'
There was also some kind of chemistry going on between Beth Ditto and Sacha Baron Cohen yesterday in Cannes.
The singer and the Dictator star shared a kiss on the waterfront during the opening of French TV show Le Grand Journal.

Beth placed her hands on the tall actor's shoulders and he held her gently in his arms as they greeted each other.
Sacha, 40, was in character as General Aladeen in full military garb, featuring pictures of his character sewn on to the sides and elbow pads.
Beth was very much herself in a lovely emerald green sequined dress, featuring a metallic belt around the waist.

The Gossip singer wore her hair in a loose bun, and her usual combination of black eyeliner and pink lipstick.
The pair appeared to get on well, and Beth performed energetically on stage as Sacha cheered her on.
Baron Cohen was once again surrounded by an array of beautiful women who were dressed as his bodyguards as he arrived at the festival in a orange Lamborghini.
Cheering her on: Sacha wasn't afraid to get involved during Beth's performance on stage
Wearing a blue denim-looking jumpsuit that was covered in badges and images of the character, Cohen kept a cigar hanging from his mouth at all times and played up to the camera as he kept a close eye on his female friends – in particular model Sasha Volkova who wore a black dress
He completed his look with a pair of snakeskin boots and some blue-tinted sunglasses as he strolled around outside the French venue.
It is believed that Cohen is planning a stunt on the same scale as his Oscars prank, when he poured 'Kim Jong-il's ashes' over Ryan Seacrest on the red carpet, in Cannes to promote his film.

On Tuesday he was seen arriving at the city's historic Carlton Hotel for a press conference, which had been decked out in full Republic of Wadiya regalia, on the back of a camel.
The actor wore a polo-style outfit and carried a riding crop as he made his way inside the hotel, flanked by two women carrying machine guns and dressed in the sexy khaki outfits.
In the movie, Cohen plays the Colonel Gaddafi-type leader who is a military dictator of the fictitious North African Republic of Wadia who hates freedom.
